The Jacob Schoch House

The Samuel Aurand House

The Inn at New Berlin rests in the heart of Pennsylvania, in the center of a historic old German town. Comprised of two lovingly restored historic homes, The Inn offers gracious accommodations, fine dining at Gabriel’s Restaurant (winner of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence), and light fare at The Salutation Tavern.

The original inn building, The Jacob Schoch House, was built in 1906 as a summer home for a wealthy Philadelphian. The Samuel Aurand was built in 1838 as a public house and tavern. Throughout the years, it has been converted into a corner grocery store, and eventually into The Inn at New Berlin.

Over the last decade, The Inn has blossomed into one of Pennsylvania's truly outstanding restaurants and country inns. Take advantage of the town’s slower pace ... visit The Inn at New Berlin and let Nancy and the staff provide you with a gentle backdrop for romance and memories.
